Nick Severini is SPARK's newest Performance Physical Therapist. Nick is a DMV native who grew up as an athlete competing in alpine ski racing and high-school baseball. After high school, he earned a B.S. in Political Science from James Madison University and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Tufts University in Boston, MA where he further developed a passion for orthopedics and sport rehabilitation and performance.
Nick has used his education as a CSCS as a strength and conditioning coach in multiple settings, including the House of Athlete in Weston, FL prior to completing his Doctorate. He gained extensive experience working with athletes preparing for the NFL combine, as well as with recreational athletes of all ages looking to improve their performance. Most recently, Nick completed his last clinical experience of physical therapy school in a sports performance setting with Rehab 2 Perform in Frederick, MD. At R2P, he worked with a variety of active individuals, as well as both high school and college athletes.
Nick enjoys working with individuals who are motivated to better their health and achieve a more active lifestyle. Nick has had multiple shoulder surgeries and has dealt with chronic pain which gives him a unique perspective and knowledge base when working with his clients. In his free time, Nick enjoys going to Dewey Beach, golfing around the DMV, working out, and skiing.
