Physical Therapy Assistant

Calla earned her Physical Therapist Assistant degree in Bellingham, Washington.  She excels at teaching and correcting movement.  She believes in individualization in treatments and approaches. To this end, Calla works with patients with compassion, listening to their concerns and needs.  Calla empowers patients to be active participants in their physical therapy treatment.  Calla has worked with people of all ages and abilities.  As a PTA, her objective is to help her patient’s reach their goals.

Calla brings a diverse background to her career in physical therapy. Growing up in Minnesota she played all kinds of sports including golf, softball, and volleyball.  But basketball was her true passion.  Calla spent time in the Army Reserves, and then worked as a personal trainer, CrossFit coach, and Olympic weightlifting instructor. Calla has competed in CrossFit competitions, weightlifting meets, triathlons, and open water swimming races. She loves to try new avenues of movement and fitness to continually challenge her mind and body, although lifting weights is her favorite.
